Quartz โ€” common questions

How much does quartz cost in Kenya?

Maruti Mining quotes quartz at KES 10,000 โ€“ 20,000 per linear metre for finished, installed work. The figure within that range depends on the colour chosen, the measured run, the edge profile and any cut-outs for sinks or hobs. Because every job differs, individual colours are not priced separately โ€” we measure and quote.

How many quartz colours do you stock?

We currently list 11 quartz options on this page, each photographed from our own slabs rather than a catalogue. Stock moves, so confirm availability with us before settling on a colour.

Do you install, or only supply?

Both. Maruti Mining cuts, edge-profiles, polishes and installs on site. The quoted price per linear metre covers finished, installed work rather than the slab alone.

Is quartz better than granite for a kitchen?

They suit different priorities. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so it resists staining without sealing and offers a consistent colour. Granite is natural, so each slab is unique and it handles heat better. For a busy kitchen where spills are frequent, quartz is usually the easier surface to live with.

Where are you based?

Our yard is at Duldul Godowns, near Cabanas on Mombasa Road, Nairobi. You are welcome to come and see the slabs in person โ€” stone photographs never quite match the real thing. We supply and install across Kenya.
